Social Work Making Connections Wednesday 23rd July to Friday 25th July 2014 Royal Holloway, University of London
During times of stress the bonds linking people together may weaken or break all together. Powerful social forces pull individuals, families, groups, organisations, communities, movements and professions apart at just the time when strong connections are needed most. Social work can counteract such centrifugal forces and be a positive connecting and counterbalancing force. JSWEC 2014 will explore the power of connection within social work practice, education and research.
